Sales ManagerYour role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow sales of IAPI solutions and services across assigned territories and key accounts, aligned with the division strategy. Each day, you will be responsible for delivering sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction through effective account management and business development. You will also showcase your ability by identifying new sales opportunities, developing customer relationships, and positioning value-driven solutions across key industrial segments.

This role is contributing to the AUPI Business for Faridabad handling North region in India. Main stakeholders include key customers in the Cement, Mining, High Power Rectifier (HPR), and other industrial sectors, along with internal sales, bid & proposal, and service teams to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Grow sales of AUPI solutions and services, delivering on business targets across assigned accounts and territories.
- Develop and execute sales strategies, including project pursuit, pipeline development, and new customer acquisition.
- Manage key accounts, improve customer relationships, and identify growth opportunities within existing customers.
- Assess customer requirements and collaborate with internal teams to propose optimal technical and commercial solutions.
- Manage commercial negotiations, follow up on quotations, secure orders, and manage customer receivables.
Qualifications for the role:
- 10+ years of experience in industrial automation sales and business development- North region.
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, E&C, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in selling automation solutions, services, and projects within Cement, Mining, Metals, and High Power Rectifier (HPR) industries.
- Solid knowledge of process automation systems, industrial applications, and ABB automation products, solutions, and services.
- Demonstrated ability in meeting sales targets, developing growth strategies, managing key accounts, and growing the business.
- Excellent customer relationship management, commercial negotiation, presentation, and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Strong interpersonal, multitasking, and self-management skills, with willingness to travel 30-40% within the assigned territory.
