The Supplier Chain Business Manager (SBM) is responsible for managing cable subcomponents to ensurecontinuity of supply, operational excellence, and supplier performance in support of business objectives.

The SBM serves as the primary operational interface between internal stakeholders and suppliers, drivingdelivery performance, risk mitigation, inventory strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives.

At Lam, as a Supply Chain Business Manager, you play a crucial role in partnering with suppliers to driveoperational excellence. Your data-driven approach ensures effective planning, scheduling, and monitoringmaterial movement through our dynamic global production cycle. You’ll benchmark and monitor supplierperformance to manage risk. By driving continuous supplier process improvements you support theproductivity and efficiency of Lam's operations.

## What you’ll do

• Own the operational relationship with cable subcomponent suppliers and act as the primary point ofcontact for supply chain matters.
• Monitor and improve supplier performance through key metrics, including on-time delivery, consignmentprogram, lead time, inventory, quality, and responsiveness.
• Drive supply continuity by proactively identifying risks, developing mitigation plans, and leading recoveryactions to minimize business impact.
• Conduct regular supplier business reviews to assess operational health, capacity, demand readiness, andimprovement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Commodity Management, Factory support, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, andLogistics to resolve supply chain challenges.
• Analyze Supply vs. Demand (SvD), backlog, forecast, and inventory data to identify risks and implementcorrective actions.
• Drive supplier commitments, lead time reduction, inventory optimization, and fulfilment improvements.
• Lead escalation management for supply constraints, shortages, and delivery issues with suppliers andinternal stakeholders.
• Ensure timely communication of supply risks, recovery plans, and business impacts to leadership.

## Who we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or arelated discipline.
• Minmum 10 years’ related experience in development, management, and improvement of supplierperformance metrics such as OTD, Consignment and Leadtime.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP), Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, and dataanalysis tools are preferred.
• Excellent stakeholders’ management, negotiation, and solid written/oral communication skills.

## Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with semiconductor or high-technology supply management practices, standards andorganization would be a plus.
• Experience in managing cable subcomponents etc connectors, pins/sockets, wire
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
