About the role
State Street Alpha Implementation team is looking for an EMEA External Manager Outreach Lead to support our Collection, Configuration & Readiness Practice across the Alpha platform. We’re looking for professionals with experience across front and middle office operating models, business analysis, data management and project management disciplines.
The Assistant Vice President (AVP), External Manager Outreach lead, is responsible for leading engagement with external Investment Managers (Sub-IMs) throughout the implementation lifecycle of strategic client onboarding and transformation programmes.
The role serves as the primary relationship owner for assigned Sub-IMs, coordinating outreach activities, gathering operational requirements, facilitating discussions with internal subject matter experts, managing implementation dependencies, and ensuring readiness milestones are achieved in support of programme delivery and go-live objectives.
The AVP will work closely with clients, external asset managers, programme leadership, and operational teams to establish effective communication channels, resolve issues, and provide transparency of progress, risks, and dependencies.

Your new role
As a External Manager Outreach Lead you will:
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned Sub-Investment Managers during implementation programmes.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external asset management firms.
- Lead engagement activities from initial introduction through implementation readiness.
- Coordinate communications between Sub-IMs, clients, and internal teams.
- Ensure timely responses and effective management of all Sub-IM-related enquiries.
- Coordinate client introduction processes and subsequent engagement activities.
- Schedule and facilitate kickoff meetings and working sessions with Sub-Ims, capturing actions, decisions and implementation requirements.
- Drive completion of onboarding questionnaires, operational checklists, and information requests.
- Monitor progress against implementation milestones and delivery dates.
- Meet regularly with the business teams, workstreams and program analysts to review progress on assigned sub-investments managers and associated challenges
- Track & report the progress of outreach for assigned sub-investment managers.
- Responsibility to host internal / external calls as required per sub-investment managers, arranging breakout groups for issues where required
- Gain an understanding of target operating models
- Manage a team and coach junior team members and support knowledge sharing.
- Proactively raise risks and issues effectively within the program, drive solutions and effectively communicate options
- Ensure practice is aligned to programme activities and governance. Leverage the ASIS standards and feedback on changes/improvements

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years relevant experience in financial services, preferably in the asset management sector, including investment operations
- Project Management / Onboarding experience
- External client management experience
- 3rd party engagement or vendor management experience
- Understanding of outsourced operations, specifically middle office trade lifecycle process.
- People management experience
Minimum Salary:
zł182 004 AnnualThe minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
