Job Description

We are looking for a Modern Workplace Solutioning Lead who can engage confidently with CIOs, CTOs, CHROs, and other senior executives to understand workplace transformation challenges, shape business-led managed services solutions, and support strategic pursuits. This role is not primarily focused on a single technology or Microsoft product; it requires a broad understanding of the end-to-end Modern Workplace portfolio, strong consulting and solutioning capabilities, and the ability to translate technology into measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with C-suite executives and senior client stakeholders to understand their workplace strategy, business priorities, employee experience challenges, operational constraints, and transformation objectives.

  • Lead Modern Workplace solutioning and consulting engagements, translating client business challenges into compelling, outcome-driven managed services solutions.

  • Develop and articulate end-to-end Modern Workplace strategies covering technology, service delivery, operating models, transformation, governance, commercials, and continuous improvement.

  • Demonstrate broad knowledge across the Modern Workplace portfolio, including:

    • Service Desk and End User Support

    • Digital Employee Experience (DEX)

    • Device Management and Device Lifecycle Management

    • Device as a Service (DaaS)

    • Workplace Security and Identity

    • Microsoft 365 and Collaboration

    • Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365

    • Asset Management and Field Services

    • Automation and Self-Service

    • Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled workplace solutions

    • ServiceNow integration and ITSM

    • Managed Workplace Services

    • Transition and Transformation

  • Shape solutions around business outcomes, employee experience, productivity, cost optimization, operational resilience, security, and user satisfaction, rather than focusing solely on technology features or configurations.

  • Work closely with sales, account teams, delivery leaders, architects, commercial teams, and SMEs to develop differentiated propositions and win strategic opportunities.

  • Actively support and influence pipeline development and opportunity creation, identifying workplace transformation opportunities rather than relying only on reactive RFP/RFI responses.

  • Lead or contribute to client workshops, discovery sessions, executive presentations, solution walkthroughs, and proposal discussions.

  • Develop compelling value propositions, solution narratives, operating models, transition approaches, service models, and commercial constructs for managed workplace opportunities.

  • Define appropriate governance, service management, operating model, SLA/XLA, KPI, and reporting frameworks aligned to client objectives.

  • Understand and contribute to commercial models, including outcome-based services, consumption-based models, managed services, workplace outsourcing, and transformation-led engagements.

  • Shape Transition and Transformation (T&T) strategies covering service transition, migration, workplace modernization, adoption, change management, and continuous improvement.

  • Demonstrate understanding of emerging workplace trends, including Digital Employee Experience, Experience Level Agreements (XLAs), AI-enabled operations, AI governance, automation, self-service, and outcome-based workplace services.

  • Position AI and Copilot capabilities based on business value and measurable client outcomes, including productivity, employee experience, service efficiency, knowledge management, and operational improvements.

  • Build trusted relationships with client executives and demonstrate the ability to understand what matters to the CIO and business, not simply what technology needs to be implemented.

  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure that proposed solutions are commercially viable, operationally deliverable, scalable, and aligned with client expectations.

  • Support competitive assessments and develop differentiated solutions that position the organization as a strategic Modern Workplace transformation partner.

  • Mentor solution architects and other team members on consultative solutioning, executive engagement, workplace transformation, and outcome-based propositions.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Significant experience in Modern Workplace consulting, solutioning, presales, managed services, workplace transformation, or IT outsourcing.

  • Strong experience engaging with CIOs, CTOs, CHROs, IT Directors, and other senior client stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to create and shape opportunities, influence client strategy, and contribute to pipeline development.

  • Broad understanding of the end-to-end Modern Workplace ecosystem, rather than deep specialization in only one technology.

  • Strong understanding of managed services operating models, governance, service management, transition and transformation, and workplace outsourcing.

  • Experience developing RFP/RFI responses, proposals, solution designs, executive presentations, business cases, and commercial propositions.

  • Strong understanding of employee experience, DEX, XLAs, automation, AI, security, identity, collaboration, endpoint management, and modern workplace architectures.

  • Ability to connect technology investments to business outcomes, financial benefits, productivity, employee experience, risk reduction, and operational efficiency.

  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of outcome-based and managed services commercial models.

  • Excellent executive communication, storytelling, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.

  • Experience working in a large global systems integrator, IT services organization, or workplace managed services environment is highly desirable.
