Encore Resort at Reunion is the first of its kind in curated resort residences. A private resort community near Disney in Orlando, Encore elevates the vacation rental experience by bridging the gap between hotel and peer-to-peer lodging.
Job summary:
The Part-Time Shuttle Driver is responsible for providing safe, courteous, and reliable transportation for guests between designated resorts, hotels, and local destinations. This position plays an important role in delivering exceptional guest service while ensuring all transportation operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
Duties:
- Safely operate company-owned shuttle vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Transport guests to and from designated locations on a scheduled route or as assigned.
- Greet guests professionally and provide outstanding customer service.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage, strollers, and other personal items as needed.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Follow established schedules while adapting to changing guest transportation needs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and other team members regarding schedules, delays, or guest concerns.
- Adhere to all safety, security, and company procedures.
- Assist with other transportation-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 25 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to meet company insurance requirements.
- Previous shuttle, transportation, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain professional and courteous in all guest interactions.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety focused.
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel, property management, and or customer service-based profession preferred
- Excellent customer service skills in person is required
- Must have guest experience in residential, vacation rental properties
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and other computer related skills related to job tasks
Physical requirements:
- Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
- Ability to enter and exit the vehicle frequently throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
