Regional Driving With a Weekly Reset at Home
ASB Freight Co. is seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers for a dedicated dry van account operating throughout the Midwest and surrounding states.
Drivers spend the week completing assigned regional routes and return home weekly for a planned 34-hour reset. The account averages approximately 1,750 miles and 2 loads per week.
This position includes driver unload using rollers, so previous experience with active delivery work is helpful.
How the Position Works
You'll operate dedicated freight across a multi-state territory that may include:
Missouri | Kansas | Minnesota | Nebraska | Iowa | Oklahoma | Colorado | Wyoming | Montana | New Mexico | North Dakota | South Dakota
Freight moves in dry van trailers. At delivery locations, the driver is responsible for unloading freight from the trailer using rollers.
Mileage & Home Time
Most drivers average approximately:
1,750 miles each week
2 loads each week
Drivers are scheduled to return home weekly for a 34-hour reset.
An approved location for truck parking is required during home time. Account management will work with drivers to establish an appropriate secure parking location.
Compensation Structure
Average weekly earnings are approximately $1,900, with top weekly earnings of approximately $2,300.
Driver compensation consists of mileage pay and load pay. An additional safety and on-time incentive of up to 3% of mileage pay may also apply.
Earnings are not guaranteed and may vary based on mileage, loads, routes, schedule, performance, and other applicable compensation factors.
About the Unloading
This account requires drivers to participate directly in deliveries.
Freight is unloaded from the trailer using rollers, and drivers must be able to safely perform the physical duties associated with the position.
Required Experience
To be considered, applicants must have:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of recent, verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to meet applicable DOT qualification requirements
- Ability to safely perform the freight-handling requirements of the position
- Authorization to work in the United States
