Job Description

As a Security Officer Act 235 Qualified Security Presence in Hatboro, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Security Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for personnel and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly, and provide exceptional customer service. Act 235 qualification is required. Pay Rate: $24.55 / Hour

We are specifically looking for individuals who possess the Act 235 Qualification (C134). This certification is essential for our security personnel in Pennsylvania, as it ensures that our team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to maintain a safe and secure environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access to government facilities and grounds, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor and activity logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate observations, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Act 235 qualification, as required in Pennsylvania.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
