In this role, you will be working as a Mechanical Engineer for a client that works in the custom machinery industry. This position will be responsible for design and engineering support for manufacturing of heavy equipment and machinery.
This position is a contract to possible hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.
Pay; $80,000-$90,000/Yr.
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2-5 + years of experience with mechanical design - understanding of large equipment, custom machinery etc..
- Solidworks experience
- Analysis experience with Solidworks Simulation is preferred
- Experience doing design and analysis on new mechanical systems and subsystems
- Conduct feasibility studies to determine functionality and reliability
- Capital equipment experience - able to do design of heavy structures including tooling, material selection and fabrication
- Evaluate and recommend design changes when needed
- Maintain documentation throughout project phases
- Knowledge of military standards
