Description
I have a client in Tampa, FL, seeking a Junior Construction Sales Representative. This role will focus on developing new business by building relationships with contractors and construction companies, identifying opportunities, and helping grow the company’s rebar division.
This position will be responsible for developing new accounts, building customer relationships, working with customers on project needs, and getting out into the market to generate new business.
This role is a temporary to possible permanent position and must be worked fully on site.
Qualifications:
- Construction industry experience preferred
- Sales or business development experience is a plus
- Rebar sales experience is a plus
- Concrete, steel, building materials, or related construction industry experience is relevant
- Ability to read construction plans
- Strong relationship building and business development skills
- Construction Management candidates looking to transition into business development may be considered
