Job Description:
- Manage all technical aspects related to the EMC area under the coordination of the System Architect, following up on platforms, payloads, and instruments from an EMC perspective.
- Elaborate and maintain technical EMC requirement specifications and budgets, including Frequency analysis, EMC control plans, and CE/CS, RE/RS, RFC, and Magnetic budgets.
- Review suppliers' hardware designs and PCB layouts, supporting EMC-related constraints and providing design, development, and testing solutions.
- Define system verification and validation (V&V) strategies, preparing test specifications and maintaining verification control documentation.
- Support the Procurement and Quality teams with technical follow-ups of subcontracted equipment, risk assessments, and anomaly investigations in NRBs.
- Collaborate closely with AIT and other engineering disciplines (thermal, mechanical, harness) involved in system development throughout the product lifecycle.
- Education: Educated to degree level in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Experience: Proven experience (5 or more years) in Space projects, power electronics design, and EMC design, analysis, development, and testing.
- Soft skills: Strong teamwork capabilities and close collaboration in multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural engineering environments.
- Languages: Advanced level in both English and Spanish.
- Technical knowledge: Requirements management, subcontractor technical management, and experience with ESA standards (ECSSs).
- Valuable / Nice to have: Experience with DOORS (requirements management), LT/PSPICE or MATLAB (electrical analysis), CST or ANSYS (RF analysis), ALTIUM (electrical design), or Python programming.
