Lead a highly engaged team of operators and line mechanics on a vial filling & lyophilisation line, where your voice matters, decisions are made together, and you can truly shape how the operation runs. What you will do:
Lead and inspire a high-performing team of operators and line mechanics, providing coaching and support while empowering individuals to take ownership and make decisions in a highly autonomous environment.
Drive the safe, compliant, and efficient execution of vial filling and lyophilisation operations, ensuring production targets and clinical supply commitments are met while maintaining GMP excellence.
Partner closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, MSAT, Quality, and other stakeholders to align priorities, solve challenges, and ensure seamless manufacturing operations.
Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence, supporting deviation management, investigations, root cause analysis, and the implementation of sustainable process improvements.
Balance a visible presence on the manufacturing floor with strategic planning responsibilities, helping the team navigate a fast-paced, dynamic environment while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and collaboration.
What we are looking for:
Experience in GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing is essential, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment and confidently balance operational priorities.
Strong people and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative, approachable leadership style and the ability to build effective partnerships across Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, MSAT, and Supply Chain.
Fluent German is required; English skills are considered an advantage.
Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is highly valued; however, candidates with strong hands-on aseptic fill & finish expertise looking to take the next step into leadership are equally encouraged to apply.
Experience with aseptic fill & finish operations, particularly vials and lyophilisation processes, is a strong advantage, while a scientific degree is beneficial but not required.
