What you will do:

• Lead and inspire a high-performing team of operators and line mechanics, providing coaching and support while empowering individuals to take ownership and make decisions in a highly autonomous environment.

• Drive the safe, compliant, and efficient execution of vial filling and lyophilisation operations, ensuring production targets and clinical supply commitments are met while maintaining GMP excellence.

• Partner closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, MSAT, Quality, and other stakeholders to align priorities, solve challenges, and ensure seamless manufacturing operations.

• Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence, supporting deviation management, investigations, root cause analysis, and the implementation of sustainable process improvements.

• Balance a visible presence on the manufacturing floor with strategic planning responsibilities, helping the team navigate a fast-paced, dynamic environment while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and collaboration.

What we are looking for:

• Experience in GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing is essential, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment and confidently balance operational priorities.

• Strong people and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative, approachable leadership style and the ability to build effective partnerships across Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, MSAT, and Supply Chain.

• Fluent German is required; English skills are considered an advantage.

• Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is highly valued; however, candidates with strong hands-on aseptic fill & finish expertise looking to take the next step into leadership are equally encouraged to apply.

• Experience with aseptic fill & finish operations, particularly vials and lyophilisation processes, is a strong advantage, while a scientific degree is beneficial but not required.
