Who are we looking for?

 

The Performance Lead is the day to day owner of performance-led client communications and delivery. You will translate strategic direction into actionable multi-channel plans while utilising AI to identify operational efficiencies and automate repetitive tasks, directly elevating the capacity of the team to focus on high-value proactive initiatives. You are responsible for keeping the GAD across risks early and ensuring all delivery is mathematically aligned to agreed business goals.

 

 

What will your day to day look like?

 

• Be the primary, day-to-day performance point of contact, building trust through data accuracy and responsiveness.
• Escalate performance or scope risks to the GAD with a solution-oriented focus.
• Lead client WIPs, providing clear POVs on market changes and emerging AI product roadmaps.
• Develop strategic directions into channel recommendations and tactics that deliver on client business goals.
• Design test and learn frameworks to validate new thinking, specifically regarding AI-led formats and automated bidding.
• Examine the full view of the client’s business to provide data-driven insights on performance.
• Own forecasting inputs and reconciliations, leveraging AI-driven forecasting tools to set realistic targets.
• Maintain strict budget control and ensure adherence to all agency commercial processes.
• Identify opportunities for cross departmental revenue growth within the agency.
• Capacity Building: Coach and mentor direct reports to use AI tools for reporting and admin, freeing up 15% of their day for proactive growth initiatives.
• Literacy: Drive analytic and AI-literacy training for the broader team to roll out best practices.
• Culture: Create psychosocial safety with accountability, establishing continuous improvement loops for the team’s output.

• Senior established agency experience across Search, Social and performance media.
• Proven strategist with strong forecasting, analytics and attribution expertise.
• Experience leveraging AI and automation to drive operational efficiency and performance outcomes.
• Strong commercial acumen and client management capabilities.
• Exceptional communication skills with experience influencing senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching and team development experience.
• Passion for innovation, experimentation and continuous improvement.
