IFRS Specialist (Contract)

About Our Client
We are working with a well established organization for an 18-month contract position.

Responsibilities
The IFRS Specialist is responsible for:

• Partnering with the external consultants on the accounting standard transition to IFRS
• Redevelop and redesign the financial reporting process and package to align with IFRS
• Focus on the componentization of assets under IFRS
• Overseeing the month-end, quarter-end and year-end process in accordance with IFRS
• Assisting with the year-end audit
• Ad hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications
The successful applicant must be a designated CPA, with a minimum of 7 years of professional accounting experience in IFRS.
