JOB TITLE:
Badging Clerk PEO Missile and Space -SG100

FULL-TIME
 (hours per week: 40)   Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM


EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and general computer operation is required.
  • Working knowledge of badge checking
  • Working knowledge of badging office requirements.
  • Working knowledge of On Guard security program.
  • Working knowledge of JPAS and security practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer operations is required. (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be authorized for coverage under agency insurance if operating an agency vehicle, have a good driving record, a valid driver’s license, and/or the required level of personal auto insurance.
  • Must be able to satisfactorily complete a background check, per company requirements.
  • Ability to communicate with tact and maintain confidentiality.
  • Adequate ability to communicate in spoken conversation – adequate volume of speech.
  • Adequate ability in writing/reading/mathematics.
  • Ability to effectively build and maintain positive working relationships with management and peers.
  • Strong organizational, project planning, and management experience with proven analytical and multi-tasking skills.
  • Superior listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Must have a DoD Secret-level clearance.
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:
  • Assistant Project Manager/Project Manager
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY:
  • Provide visiting documents promptly.
  • Prepare documents and keep records in accordance with the PWS.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all project-related items and issues.
  • Provide direction to the staff.
  • Ensure that PEO Missile and Space operations are functioning in an effective, efficient, and safe manner, in strict compliance with all safety and security regulations.
  • Responsible for conducting random spot-check inspections.
  • Process badges for workers in the building after all the proper paperwork and requirements have been filed.
  • Stock supplies and issue them out as needed by the customer.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Arrive on time and ready to work assigned schedule.
  • Ensure work performed meets or exceeds the requirements of the contract statement of work.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to all patrons, coworkers, and other interested parties.
  • Meet with the customer contract representatives to discuss work quality issues.
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with customers, on-site supervisors, administrative and operational support personnel.
  • Assist with meetings/briefings and discuss issues with the management staff as necessary to fulfill company and contract requirements.
  • Coordinate and visit with customer(s) as necessary on all items concerning the successful contract operation.
  • Take direction, interact, and maintain open communication with supervisor/lead.
  • Support the company vision, values, and quality program controls.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES RELATED TO THIS POSITION MAY INCLUDE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
  • Complete and submit all monthly reports promptly.
  • Ensure that all functions are performed correctly and to be able to provide on-the-spot corrections and direction.
  • Ensure that all site-specific security requirements are being met and followed
  • Interact with high-level officials politely and professionally.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Adequate ability required for conversation, telephone use, and emergency information systems.
  • Ability to move independently on all surfaces and in all situations
  • Ability to move safely around work area.
  • Ability to retrieve items from high and low areas.
  • Ability to perceive size, discrimination, temperature, shapes, and/or textures.
  • Physical stamina to work at least 8 hours per day.
  • Physically able to lift boxes and packages weighing up to 70 pounds using proper equipment and lifting techniques.
