Lawrence’s Food Production Job DescriptionOur Food Production Team Member supports our fast-paced fish and shrimp quick-service restaurants by preparing, assembling, and packaging seafood menu items daily. This role helps ensure every order is made safely, consistently, and to quality standards while supporting a clean and efficient assembly operation. Key ResponsibilitiesRecipe-Based Preparation: Measure, season, and prepare fish, shrimp, sides, sauces, and other menu items according to company recipes and portion standards.Quality Control: Inspect seafood, all food products, and prepared items for freshness, appearance, temperature, and recipe consistency before packaging.Packaging & Labeling: Package orders, prep items, and ingredients accurately; label prepared products with dates, times, and holding information as required.Sanitation & Food Safety: Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, prep areas, and storage spaces while following food safety, allergen, and cross-contamination procedures.Team Communication: Communicate with shift leads, and managers to keep production moving and report shortages, equipment issues, or quality concerns.Pay & BenefitsStarting Pay: $17.05 per hour.Paid Holidays: Eligible team members receive paid holidays in accordance with company policy.Health Benefits: Health benefits are available for eligible team members.Growth Opportunities: Opportunities may be available to grow into lead, trainer, or shift leadership roles.Skills & QualificationsFood Service Experience: Previous kitchen, assembly line or food production experience preferred but not required.Food Safety Awareness: Ability to follow safe food handling, temperature control, sanitation, and allergen procedures.Attention to Detail: Strong focus on recipe accuracy, portion control, freshness, labeling, and order accuracy.Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, work in hot kitchen areas, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.Teamwork & Communication: Ability to work well with others, follow instructions, and support a fast-paced service environment.Work EnvironmentSetting: Fast-paced fish and shrimp quick-service production line and prep area.Pace: High-volume environment.Hours: This is a morning scheduled position, weekends and overtime based on business needs.
