Our Oak Creek Repair Operations Center (ROC) empowers healthcare providers to deliver uninterrupted, high quality patient care by quickly restoring and extending the life of critical medical technologies. Through innovative reuse, repair, refurbishment, and recycling—supported by a collaborative and fast paced environment—we deliver sustainable solutions that create lasting value for our customers, employees, and the environment.The GE HealthCare Repair Operations Center is looking for new talent to join the Harvest operation. Our team breaks down end-of-life medical equipment to extract vital parts that keep medical systems running in hospitals all around the world.
This position will support the Harvest Receiving process and will be responsible for coordinating system delivery to the area, maintaining complete and accurate records in the Salesforce and MyWorkshop tools, and ensuring consistent and organized flow to the rest of the operation.
Job Description
Responsibilities
Work with a safety first mindset to keep self and other team members safe
Maintain accurate records consistent with GE HealthCare’s good documentation practices
Provide evaluation and constructive feedback in the development of new and existing work instructions
Provide strong individual contributions to assist in the team’s overall success
Complete all planned Quality, Compliance, and Safety training within defined deadlines
Use basic hand and power tools to disassemble a large variety of medical equipment while ensuring the safe handling of critical parts
Cleaning and inspection of mechanical and electrical components
Cross reference part numbers, schematics, and purchase specifications to ensure part compliance
Utilize pallet jacks, lift carts, and other equipment to safely move heavy systems and parts
Contribute to the improvement and sustainment of departmental Lean and 5s goals
Required Qualifications
Associates degree, or a High School diploma and 2 years technical experience
Proficiency to logically troubleshoot at subsystem and system level, using identifiable problem solving techniques
Ability to draw accurate conclusions from test data, malfunctions, or deviations, and assist with corrections to the existing design or process
Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information
Demonstrated ability to work well with limited direction and information
Ability to communicate using English (or local language)
1st shift: 6am-2:30 pm CST
Desired Qualifications
Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft office applications
Experience using Salesforce and MyWorkshop tools
Demonstrated expertise with hand and power tools
Familiarity with GE HealthCare medical systems
