OVERVIEW
As the Associate Buyer, you will own multiple categories within the broader division, managing seasonal buys, receipt management, weekly business analysis, and reacting to in-season business insights and opportunities. As a design-led company, you will bring a strong analytical perspective to the business, leveraging data and business insights to support the successful execution of the product vision.
The Associate Buyer will partner cross-functionally with Buying, Merchandising, and Planning & Allocation to align on pre-season and in-season strategy and implementation while providing data-driven recommendations to support business decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor category performance closely and translate business trends into action by making informed decisions and adjusting receipts as needed to chase upside, mitigate risk, optimize inventory, and maximize sales.
- Manage the preparation and distribution of weekly and quarterly business reports, ensuring data is accurate and complete. Proactively share reporting with cross-functional partners and leadership, providing clear and timely communication to support business decisions.
- Partner closely with Buying, Merchandising, and Planning & Allocation to execute seasonal and in-season strategies, ensuring alignment on sales, inventory, receipt, and assortment priorities.
- Develop bottom-up, SKU-level buys for seasonal items, ensuring forecasts are grounded in historical results, current business performance, and aligned with agreed-upon sales targets.
- Conduct PO management tasks such as tracking and monitoring warehouse ETAs and in-turn advise the merchandising team whether launch dates will be met or at risk.
- Compose quarterly hindsight presentation by leveraging business analysis, customer insights, and business trends. Provide clear, actionable recommendations to guide merchandising partners in making assortment and product decisions.
- Proactively anticipate the needs of managers and leaders by preparing ahead for milestone meetings, identifying key questions and business insights, and ensuring relevant data, analysis, and materials are readily available to support decision-making.

The base salary range for this position is $90,000-$105,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
