Ecolab is seeking a BI Support Analyst to join the Global Business Intelligence (BI) team, contributing to partnering closely with Business Intelligence Demand, Product Development, and Data teams to ensure BI products are reliable, issues are resolved efficiently, and users are effectively enabled to leverage analytics to drive business outcomes. This role requires proven proficiency in the Microsoft BI stack and familiarity with Snowflake and cloud-based data architectures. The ideal candidate will work on complex, cross-functional projects and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders across finance and sales teams.

What You Will Do:

• Responsible for maintaining Business Intelligence platforms and Products supporting global business activities across the enterprise
• Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and BI technical resources for product support, issue resolution, and user enablement.
• Be part of issue intake, triage, and resolution activities, including monitoring, prioritization, escalation, and coordination across teams
• Ensure BI platforms and products are properly supported and meet or exceed defined SLAs, including required reporting to leadership and ownership of critical break fix events
• Collaborate and communicate between Business Intelligence Demand, Product, Development, and Data teams in supporting platform stability, adoption, and continuous improvement
• Participate in enablement activities, including knowledge articles, user guidance, and support documentation, to reduce recurring issues and improve self-service adoption service adoption
• Support and optimize dashboard performance and user experience to maximize adoption and impact.

Technical Environment

• Microsoft Power BI and Azure Analysis Services (AAS)
• Snowflake (Cloud Data Warehouse)
• SQL/T-SQL, stored procedures, data modeling
• Data warehousing, ETL, and reporting architecture

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, Statistics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
• 6+ years of experience developing data visualizations and self-service BI dashboards.
• 5+ years of SQL programming and experience with data extraction and manipulation from complex datasets.
• Proficiency with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and performance optimization.
• Strong report and visualization design skills aligned with end-user needs.
• Strong data analytical, validation and troubleshooting skills of systems and reports.
• Ability to transform complex data into actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understand business questions related to analytics, with the ability to communicate data insights through visually compelling reports.
• Experience interacting with a diverse, global team across multiple business segments; comfortable working with various organizational levels.
• Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills, able to successfully manage core responsibilities and balance multiple priorities.
• High learning agility and interest in emerging technologies in the BI environment.
• Experience with Python and automation will be an added advantage
• Exposure to tools such as Sigma, Streamlit, Replit will be looked up at
• Proven experience translating business requirements into scalable BI artifacts (reports, dashboards, KPIs).
• Experience with BI architecture, data modeling, and ETL development.
• Experience with other data analysis or open source tools such as R, Pandas (Python)
• Experience in using support tools such as ServiceNow and ADO.
