About the Role
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine physician to join a busy outpatient practice in Hilton Head, SC. This full-time role emphasizes high-quality primary care, continuity of patient relationships, and collaboration with an integrated care team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care for adult patients, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute visit care.
Perform routine procedures commonly done in primary care as needed.
Coordinate care with specialists, behavioral health, case management, and ancillary services.
Maintain accurate and timely EHR documentation and meet quality and patient-safety measures.
Participate in practice meetings, quality improvement, and patient outreach initiatives.
Schedule & Practice Model
Typical weekday clinic schedule with standard business hours (flexible scheduling and part-time options may be considered).
Full-time clinical FTE; potential for telemedicine visits as part of schedule.
Panel management with emphasis on continuity and preventive care.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree.
Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine.
Active or eligible for medical licensure in South Carolina.
Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred but not required).
Strong communication, patient-centered care, and team collaboration skills.
Experience with EHRs and quality metrics preferred.
