Description of Work
The primary purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive and accurate pharmaceutical care to all persons treated at MDC in accordance with Federal and State laws, rules, regulations and guidelines. Services for drug information, drug utilization, drug interaction, drug monitoring, drug interpretation, medical education or any drug related services within our capacity will be provided for everyone in compliance with Department of Health and Human Services and ICF-IDD standards.ALL employees of Murdoch Center are designated a ESSENTIAL for adverse weather and emergency events.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
Recruitment Range: $97,268.00 - $194,534.00
Experience in interpreting drug literature
Knowledge in providing correct drug information
Knowledge of pharmacology and pathophysiology
Knowledge of North Carolina pharmacy laws and regulations
Knowledge and adherence to standards of the profession
Experience with medication therapy reviews
Experience with writing medication reviews in a medical chart.
