Description

The Director, Dealer Tech Portfolio Management is accountable for leading Store Technology's Dealer-facing governance, financial oversight, strategic alignment, and stakeholder engagement activities. This role serves as the single point of accountability for Dealer committees, Dealer roadmap coordination, financial oversight, procurement governance, and executive-level Dealer communications.

The Director ensures that Dealer priorities, technology investments, governance forums, and financial commitments are aligned across Store Technology, CTDA, Dealers, and business stakeholders. By centralizing accountability for recurring Dealer engagement activities, the role improves transparency, strengthens relationships, and enables delivery teams to remain focused on execution while Dealers receive consistent visibility and support.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead Dealer Governance: Own Store Technology's engagement across Dealer committees, governance forums, and executive reviews, ensuring decisions, priorities, and commitments are effectively managed and communicated.

  • Manage the Dealer Technology Portfolio & Roadmap: Consolidate and maintain Dealer-tech facing roadmaps, providing visibility into priorities, financials, dependencies, and delivery progress.

  • Oversee Financial Commitments: Govern significant Dealer-related technology investments, CTDA costs, leases, funding commitments, and financial obligations to ensure transparency and sound financial stewardship.

  • Drive Dealer Procurement Governance: Provide oversight of Dealer-facing procurement requests, approvals, decisions, ensuring Dealers have visibility into upcoming costs, impacts, and commitments.

  • Serve as the Primary Dealer Tech Relationship Lead: Act as the single accountable point of contact for Dealer governance, strategic alignment, and stakeholder engagement across Store Technology.

  • Improve Transparency & Alignment: Ensure Dealers, CTDA, business partners, and technology teams receive consistent communications, clear decision-making, and coordinated support.

  • Establish a consistent operating model for Dealer-facing technology governance activities.

  • Lead and coordinate resources supporting committees, financial management, procurement reviews, and executive reporting.

  • Develop governance standards, reporting frameworks, and stakeholder engagement practices.

  • Drive alignment across Store Technology portfolios and business partners.

  • Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and Dealer-centric decision-making.

What you bring:

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in portfolio management, business relationship management, technology governance, or strategic planning.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Finance, or related discipline; MBA considered an asset.

  • Proven experience managing executive-level stakeholder relationships and governance forums.

  • Strong understanding of technology investment planning, financial management, procurement governance, and portfolio prioritization.

  • Experience developing strategic roadmaps and aligning technology investments with business objectives.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder environments involving multiple business units, external partners, governing bodies, and executive leaders.

  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with experience overseeing budgets, contracts, funding decisions, and technology investments.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.

  • Experience leading organizational governance processes and driving alignment across competing priorities.
