What you'll do:
- Oversee cargo handling, secure loads, ensure compliance with regulations, and perform trip inspections for safety and roadworthiness.
- Maintain and verify load-related documentation, including manifests, driver logbooks, and bills of lading, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Operate trucks safely, maneuvering for loading/unloading, inspecting vehicles, reporting defects, and adhering to transportation laws.
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and the public while ensuring timely and professional deliveries.
- Perform loading/unloading duties, clean up debris, provide feedback on issues, and train others when required.
What's required:
High School diploma minimum.
• Certification from recognized Truck Driving School.
• Valid Commercial Driver's license.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance.
• Manual dexterity, ability to lift 75+ lbs required.
• Overtime as required.
• Weekend work may be required, on call schedule in effect on weekly basis.
