· Permanent part-time position working evening shifts, with the opportunity to work day-time shifts to cover leave
The Workforce Unit is a small friendly team in a fast-paced hospital environment. As an Allocations Officer in this team, you will coordinate staffing resources for our Clinical teams across the hospital.
· Work closely with the Hospital Coordinator to allocate nurses and midwives to shift vacancies
· Provide excellent customer service for nurses and midwives
· Attend to general office administration duties
What you’ll bring
You’re resilient, compassionate, and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you are committed to building exceptional customer relationships with nurses and midwives.
To thrive in this role, you will have:
· Have experience in office environments
· Demonstrate customer service with an outstanding phone manner
· Demonstrate high-level office skills with an eye for detail and excellent time management skills
· Proven teamwork and problem-solving skills
· Experience in data entry, preferably in Allocation systems
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
