Extrusion Operator - Setup Operations (2nd Shift 2:00pm - 10:30pm) Lenni, PA

Extrusion machine operator – Setup operator duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Clean and setup single screw extruders

· Maintain setup and accurate in-process records

· Record running conditions and process change

· Assure material is being manufactured to the required specification

· Take care of tooling and equipment during the setup of an extruder

· Monitor cut off sheets and shop orders that are running and being setup

· Confirm correct type and amount of resin is entered into each job

· Maintain housekeeping in extrusion area

· Maintain all safety requirements

Requirements

· Demonstrated mechanical ability

· Proper use of hand and power tools

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Valid Driver’s License

· Job experience (>2 years) in a manufacturing setting or graduation from a technical training school in a mechanical application

· Knowledge in the safe operation of the following equipment: horizontal lathes of all sizes, portable resurfacing machines and drill presses

· Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
