The Opportunity
This role is based in Colombia and is part of the Business Technology Services (BTS) International IT organization.
The IT Program Manager is responsible for leading the Payroll Transformation Program across Latin America, providing strategic direction, governance, and oversight for multiple Payroll SuccessFactors implementation workstreams and country deployments. This position is accountable for program planning, execution, stakeholder alignment, risk management, business readiness, and achievement of program objectives.
The role partners closely with Global, Regional, and Local IT, HR, Payroll, Finance, Compliance, and external implementation partners to successfully deliver enterprise payroll transformation initiatives that support business, operational, regulatory, and organizational goals across the region.
What You'll Do
Lead large-scale payroll and HR technology transformation programs across multiple LATAM countries.
Establish program governance, priorities, execution strategies, and delivery roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
Oversee multiple concurrent projects and workstreams, ensuring successful coordination and delivery across teams and countries.
Build strong relationships with executive stakeholders, business leaders, vendors, and implementation partners.
Manage program-level risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, and resource allocation to drive successful outcomes.
Facilitate executive decision-making by providing strategic recommendations, status updates, and program insights.
Drive organizational change management, business readiness, stakeholder engagement, and adoption activities.
Ensure alignment with local regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and payroll operational needs across the region.
Direct external implementation partners and vendors to ensure quality delivery and achievement of program objectives.
Promote best practices in program management, governance, and continuous improvement within the BTS organization.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Human Resources Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
10+ years of professional experience in Information Technology, Business Transformation, HR Technology, Payroll Systems, Program Management, or related areas.
Minimum 8 years of experience leading large-scale technology, software, or digital transformation initiatives, including multi-country deployments.
Proven experience managing complex enterprise programs with multiple projects, workstreams, and stakeholders.
Experience delivering HR, Payroll, HCM, ERP, SAP SuccessFactors, or enterprise technology transformation programs.
Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
Experience managing executive stakeholders, vendors, implementation partners, governance processes, budgets, and organizational change initiatives.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, medical devices, or similar environments preferred.
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and/or Employee Central Payroll (ECP) implementation experience preferred.
PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent program/project management certification preferred.
Fluency in English required. Spanish and/or Portuguese proficiency is preferred.
