Description
Background
The purpose of the Global Workplace Services is to provide our ING colleagues with a Digital Workplace to collaborate frictionless in a hybrid world. Global Workplace Services enables all colleagues worldwide to do their jobs as effectively as possible, using modern digital tools that are secure, up to date and user friendly.
The workplace department maximizes the delivery of value for employees by leveraging on the Microsoft Cloud Platform on the areas of collaboration, productivity, and employee experience services. Workplace leverages the Microsoft Cloud Platform in terms of speed and scale of developments in the areas of collaboration, productivity, and employee experience services. This means that Workplace owns and manages all Microsoft platforms and integrations (e.g.: Microsoft 365, Copilot M365, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Power Platforms, Viva Suite) and any new Microsoft technology in these areas.
This also includes driving the engineering implementation and continuous improvement of Microsoft Purview capabilities to govern, protect, and manage data across the Microsoft 365 workplace, including Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Data Lifecycle Management, Audit, eDiscovery, Insider Risk Management (IRM), Communication Compliance, and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM). These capabilities support secure collaboration, regulatory compliance, responsible AI adoption, and protection against oversharing or leakage of sensitive information across Microsoft 365, Copilot, agents, and other workplace services.
In Global Workplace services we have an exciting opportunity for a Chapter Lead.
As a Chapter Lead Engineer, you will report directly to the IT Area Lead. In this role, you will be the technical authority and senior engineer in the team to contribute to the area’s objectives. The chapter lead engineer follows and executes the strategy set by the IT Area Lead and Product Manager. You will also lead a chapter, set the work-standards for your team and take charge of developing, innovating, and safeguarding expertise to ensure the seamless delivery of technical services for the organization and its customers. You will also play a crucial role in developing and mentoring team members to achieve their personal, career, and organizational goals.
IT Area Employee Productivity & Collaboration (Microsoft 365)
Employee Collaboration, Productivity & Engagement Chapter: The purpose of this chapter is to provide the productivity tools for employees to communicate, collaborate, and engage day-to-day. To deliver, develop and support end-user file services, telephony services, a powerful collaboration platform that enables teamwork, content management, and streamlined communication for common end users using the Microsoft tooling for their work (M365, Co-pilot, Viva, Power Apps, Power Automate). We create a common library of useful automations, delivering training, innovating with future integration from Microsoft to come, and solving all technical and security incidents. Within this chapter, Microsoft Purview can be positioned as an enabling platform for secure productivity and collaboration by helping employees classify and protect sensitive information, prevent data loss across Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, endpoints, and AI interactions, manage retention and records requirements, and provide visibility into data risks related to Copilot, agents, and other generative AI solutions.
