Middle Office, Associate, Product Support & Services ISG

We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Middle Office Associate in ISG Operations. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end syndicate operations, including trade booking, lifecycle management through settlement, and submission of regulatory reports. The position requires daily handling of sensitive non-public information, necessitating placement in a secure private side area.
 

This is a Professional position at Associate level within Product Support & Services ISG, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.

What you'll do in the role:

• Execute processes/functions and/or support process management and project efforts, leveraging knowledge of the systems, markets and instruments that influence the team
• Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements
• Build relationships within team and internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge to contribute to team output
• Participate in projects and initiatives, aiding in solution formulation with a focus on timely execution and - leverage automation tools and process improvements to enhance overall efficiency.
• A strong awareness of risk management and guardianship is essential. Understanding global syndicate operations requirements to drive prioritization and the ability to work effectively across geographical and functional boundaries is critical.

What you'll bring to the role:

• Ability to establish clear goals and priorities, and address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision
• Subject matter expertise in trade booking / middle office, liaising with front office on trade booking requests and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests
• Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values
• Fair understanding of GCM Business and middle office workflow and liaise with front office and management on complex trade bookings
• At least 2.5 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
