Position Summary
The Payroll Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely administration of payroll processes while maintaining compliance with labor, tax, and social security regulations. This role supports employees throughout the payroll cycle, manages payroll-related records and statutory obligations, and serves as a key point of contact for payroll inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Process employee hires, terminations, and payroll-related changes.
- Administer payroll bank account registrations and employee benefit card assignments.
- Maintain employee attendance system records, including biometric registrations.
- Prepare, validate, and process payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Review and reconcile overtime records, payroll adjustments, and employee deductions.
- Manage employee leave records, including personal leave and social security-related absences.
- Maintain and update employee vacation balances and records.
- Process payroll payments, deductions, loans, and statutory withholdings.
- Generate, review, and submit payroll payments through banking platforms.
- Coordinate payroll card and benefit card replacements when required.
- Provide payroll support and guidance to employees regarding payments, benefits, deductions, and related inquiries.
- Prepare and process employee final settlements and termination payments.
- Manage employee registrations, terminations, and salary modifications with government agencies.
- Prepare and submit monthly and bimonthly social security and housing fund obligations.
- Monitor and respond to government notifications and compliance requirements.
- Support payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting activities.
- Ensure payroll records are maintained accurately and confidentially.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll administration or a similar role.
- Experience handling employee records and payroll-related transactions.
- Knowledge of Mexican payroll regulations and statutory processes is preferred.
Languages
- Basic English proficiency.
Technical Skills
- Payroll management systems (TRESS preferred).
- Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- SUA, IDSE, and SIPARE platforms.
- Banking portal administration.
- Employee benefits and voucher platform management.
- Data analysis and payroll reconciliation.
