ROLE SUMMARY
This role sits within Group Finance and is responsible for end-to-end ownership of shared entities accounting and fund operations activities supporting Blackstone Real Estate structures across APAC.
The Senior Associate is expected to operate independently, partnering directly with Revantage APAC and Blackstone stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial reporting and fund operational outputs with strong governance, accuracy, and timeliness.
The role also drives process efficiency, control, and operational excellence, supporting a scalable and high-performing Revantage operating model.
Primary Role
1. Shared Entities Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee and review month-end / quarter-end close, including accruals and intercompany reconciliations
- Ensure accurate accounting for capital events, fair value adjustments, financing and intercompany transactions
- Review management accounts, consolidation schedules, and multi-jurisdiction financial reporting
- Prepare/review Blackstone reporting deliverables
- Maintain key schedules (e.g., debt, amortisation, accruals, imputed interest)
- Support tax reporting and audit processes, liaising directly with auditors
- Ensure strong governance, documentation standards, and audit readiness across all deliverables
2. Fund Operations Management (Expanded Scope Ownership)
- Manage end-to-end NAV line / fund financing activities, including:
- Loan drawdowns, repayments, refinancing, and interest servicing
- Covenant monitoring and compliance reporting
- Oversee fund liquidity management and cash flow monitoring processes
- Manage Blackstone management fee processes, including:
- Fee allocation across fund advisors and SPVs
- Invoice preparation and issuance to fund stakeholders
- Coordinate with fund stakeholders on:
- Fund operation trackers (liquidity, activity tracking)
- Ad-hoc fund-related queries and operational matters
3. Stakeholder Management & Client Interface
- Act as a key liaison between Revantage India and Revantage APAC Group Finance team
- Partner directly with Blackstone fund teams and regional stakeholders (finance, tax, treasury, capital markets)
- Provide clear, timely responses to stakeholder queries and ensure service delivery aligned with expectations and SLAs
- Exercise judgment in resolving complex issues and escalate with recommended solutions where required
4. Audit, Financial Statements & Compliance
- Prepare and/or review annual financial statements (IFRS and/or SFRS)
- Coordinate audit processes and resolve audit queries with external auditors
- Ensure timely completion of statutory reporting and regulatory filings
5. Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Act as a senior point of guidance for analysts within Revantage India (without necessarily direct people management)
- Support workload planning and task allocation to ensure timely delivery
- Foster collaboration between Revantage India and Revantage APAC stakeholders
- Support knowledge sharing and consistency in execution across the team
- Provide guidance, coaching, and technical training to junior team members
- Proactively identify and resolve issues, escalating where appropriate
6. Continuous Improvement & Transformation
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and standardisation
- Support ERP enhancements, system testing, and new reporting initiatives
- Contribute to SOP development and strengthening of control frameworks
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Professional qualification (CA / CPA / ACCA or equivalent preferred)
- 8–10 years relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, or fund accounting
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and fund operations (real estate / private equity preferred)
- Experience working with cross-border stakeholders and external auditors
