Job Summary

This role is responsible for the operational performance (process compliance, achievement of key performance indicators) of the Logistics Service Providers running the Distribution Center / Cluster Operations for HP. He/she acts as the key interface for operational matters between the DC / Cluster and HP.

He/she works closely with the Operations Account Manager for the site in managing cost performance, capacity planning, service quality and continuous improvements / efficiency enhancements. As a process representative (either as an owner for sub-processes or performer of processes) the operational coordinator is accountable for his/her site and supports / leverages / shares best practices with other sites.

This may include:

  • Ensure & drive operational performance / excellence of the DC/Cluster site
  • KPI / Metric management and driving corrective actions & continuous improvements
  • Short term Capacity management
  • Day-to-day operations Mgmt. Resolve d2d operational issues with LSP and HP SC stakeholders
  • Serve as 1st escalation point on operational matters
  • Oversee / manage Receiving, Inventory Integrity, and Value-Added Services process execution at DC site
  • Invoice validation
  • Quality claims validation
  • Process & Regulation compliance
  • Reporting tasks

The Operational Coordinator is capable of handling / analyzing larger sets of process, performance or cost data to provide insights and conclusions needed for Management decisions, continuous improvements, projects etc. He/she has an e2e understanding of related process, business requirements and dependencies. He/she is a consultant and recognized subject matter expert for external partners and other HP teams.

Business Environment

Our Logistics Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) team is accountable for all Inbound flows (from other continents into EMEA), for all our EMEA Distribution Centers as well as the Outbound flows to our customers and partners within the different EMEA countries.

We want to strengthen our team managing the Distribution Center & Inbound Logistics Operations and are looking for an ambitious, motivated and eager to grow & develop Operational Coordinator to join us. Your Profile

  • Bachelor degree (in Logistics, Supply Chain, Economics or other relevant degree)
  • Typically 4-7 years of experience preferably in supply chain, logistics, operations, or a related field
  • Strong interpersonal relationship-, influencing- and communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills in x-functional teams and with external partners
  • Process management & continuous improvements skills. Business process management knowledge is an advantage
  • Good data analytical skills
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel (experience in Power BI & automation will be of advantage)
  • E2E thinking / mindset
  • Ability to work independent and in teams
  • Fluency in English is a must (German skills are of advantage)
  • Interest to work in a complex and multi-cultural/-lingual business environment.
  • Ability to work independent and in virtual environment
  • Self-starter / initiative and solution orientation (‘Can Do’ attitude)
  • Team player
  • Warehouse & inventory management experience will be an advantage
  • ERP system knowledge (SAP) will be an advantage
