Lead Advanced Aesthetician

Description

The Lead Advanced Aesthetician serves as a clinical expert and leader within milk + honey’s Advanced Aesthetics Program. This role delivers advanced aesthetic treatments and exceptional patient care while helping strengthen the performance and growth of Advanced Aesthetics within their individual market.

Partnering closely with the MedSpa Operations Leadership and Education Team, the Lead Advanced Aesthetician helps ensure clinical excellence, safety, treatment consistency, and protocol adherence. They also support successful provider onboarding, new technology and service launches, and identify opportunities to strengthen provider performance and grow Advanced Aesthetics within their market.

This role is ideal for an experienced aesthetics professional who is passionate about aesthetics, education, developing others, and contributing to the continued growth of milk + honey’s Advanced Aesthetics Program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Perform advanced aesthetic services within the licensed scope of practice while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and care.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to Advanced Aestheticians, providing guidance on consultations, treatment planning, clinical decisions, and patient escalations.
• Lead provider onboarding, hands-on training, competency validation, and ongoing education for advanced aesthetic treatments and technologies.
• Ensure consistent adherence to milk + honey protocols, Medical Director delegation orders, manufacturer guidelines, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
• Conduct treatment observations and chart audits to assess quality, reinforce consistency, and identify coaching opportunities.
• Partner with MedSpa Operations and Education to develop clinical resources, support new service launches, and elevate the patient experience.
• Participate in interviewing and selecting Advanced Aestheticians within the market.
• Support provider and program performance by monitoring utilization, revenue, patient satisfaction, and other key metrics.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection-prevention, and safety standards.
• Foster a positive, accountable team culture centered on clinical excellence, professional development, and continuous improvement.

Schedule

• Flexible Scheduling – work a mix of AM and PM shifts, including a weekend (Saturday or Sunday) and some holidays

Requirements

• Active Esthetician or Cosmetology license
• Active TDLR Laser license (Senior Laser Technician preferred).
• Current, independent hands-on experience performing a range of advanced aesthetic treatments, including medical-grade chemical peels, microneedling, laser and light-based technologies, or comparable modalities.
• Strong consultation, communication, clinical judgment, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated success in delivering an exceptional patient experience, maintaining high standards of clinical documentation, and consistently achieving performance goals and key business targets.
• Passion for advanced aesthetics, education, professional growth, and contributing to the success of other providers.
