The Northland Corridor Warkworth to Te Hana - Ara Tūhono project will enhance connectivity, improve safety and support regional growth, leaving a lasting legacy for future generations.
About the Opportunity
Reporting to the BIM Lead, the BIM Modeller will help deliver ACCIONA's Digital Engineering strategy on the Northland Corridor. You'll create and manage 3D earthworks and geometrics models, develop models across multiple disciplines, and produce drawings and documentation for the project team and subcontractors. This role suits an experienced civil or infrastructure professional who enjoys hands-on modelling work and wants to shape how a major project's digital data is built and shared.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage and update the 3D earthworks and geometrics model
- Develop 3D models to support multiple project disciplines
- Produce 2D drawings and plans using Civil 3D
- Model details for design, post-AFC and staging works
- Maintain documents and records for the BIM department
- Build and maintain libraries and templates for modelling software
- Provide model outputs in required exchange formats
Required Skills and Competencies
- Experience in civil, geometrics or infrastructure roles
- Sound understanding of roads and earthworks design and build
- Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or construction (preferred)
- Skilled in OpenRoads Designer, Civil 3D and automation tools
- Working knowledge of Digital Engineering standards (ISO 19650)
