Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Alaska, and Hawaii. This is a remote, field-based position operating from a home office within the assigned territory. Preferred home office locations are Nevada, Utah, or Arizona.

We are committed to delivering high-quality products, exceptional customer support, and strong distributor partnerships. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated Regional Sales Manager to expand our presence throughout the Western United States.

 

Position Summary

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, developing distributor relationships, and expanding market share throughout the assigned territory. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers and distributors, while identifying new business opportunities and supporting existing accounts. This position requires frequent travel throughout the territory, approximately 50-75%.

 

Key Responsibilities

Territory Growth & Business Development

  • Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with distributors, fleets, municipalities, contractors, and end users.
  • Grow market share through strategic relationship-building and customer engagement.
  • Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and customer visits throughout the territory.

Distributor & Customer Management

  • Develop, strengthen, and support distributor partnerships.
  • Assist distributors with sales opportunities, product training, and market development initiatives.
  • Maintain distributor agreements, forecasts, sales reports, and promotional activities.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for customers and distributors throughout the sales process.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, forecasts, and activity within the CRM system.

Sales & Market Development

  • Manage opportunities from initial prospecting through quoting, order placement, delivery, and post-sale support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and project execution.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, distributor meetings, and customer events.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive products, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of territory or regional sales experience selling truck equipment, service bodies, cranes, utility equipment, construction equipment, vocational trucks, heavy equipment, fleet solutions, or related products.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, develop business, and close sales.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing a large geographic territory.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.
  • Experience working with or managing distributor and dealer networks.
