Overview

We are partnering with an established flooring and home interiors organization to identify a Design Showroom Lead for the Minneapolis–St. Paul, Minnesota market. This is a full-time, onsite role overseeing showroom sales, customer projects, installation coordination, deliveries, inventory, and day-to-day showroom operations.

The ideal candidate has experience in flooring, interiors, design, retail, or home improvement and is comfortable balancing customer service, sales, project coordination, and operations.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead showroom consultations, product selection, quoting, and sales orders
• Manage customer projects from consultation through installation and closeout
• Coordinate measures, installers, contractors, deliveries, and project timelines
• Process deposits, payments, orders, and project documentation
• Manage CRM/POS updates and ensure projects are properly closed
• Receive shipments, maintain inventory accuracy, and coordinate outbound freight
• Maintain showroom presentation, samples, warehouse organization, and safety standards
• Support showroom events, trade shows, and local marketing initiatives
• Build relationships with customers, contractors, builders, and designers
• Resolve project issues and coordinate solutions


Ideal Background

• Experience in flooring, interiors, design, retail, home improvement, or a related industry
• Strong consultative sales and customer service experience
• Experience coordinating projects, contractors, installers, or deliveries
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable using CRM/POS and other business systems
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Forklift experience or willingness to complete training preferred
