Description
Suzy is the AI-powered Decision Engine — the platform that tells you what the market is doing, what your data means, and what story to tell, all in one place. Intelligence. Insights. Impact. We don’t run research. We power decisions.
We’re in the middle of a category-defining moment. The transition from project-based market research to always-on AI decision intelligence is happening now. The companies that renew and grow with Suzy aren’t just keeping a survey vendor — they’re deepening the decision infrastructure their business runs on.
Suzy is hiring Account Managers who thrive in a farmer role paired with real commercial ownership — you inherit a book of live AI SaaS platform customers and you’re accountable for keeping them, growing them, and turning them into repeatable proof points for what Suzy can do.
What You’ll Do
As an Account Manager, you own the full post-sale commercial relationship for a book of mid-market and enterprise AI SaaS platform accounts — renewals, cross-sell, and upsell, from the day a deal closes through every subsequent contract cycle.
Day to day, that means:
Owning renewal outcomes across your book — forecasting risk early, running renewal conversations as business reviews, not paperwork
Identifying and closing expansion opportunities: new use cases, new business units, new seats, new products in the Suzy platform
Running quarterly business reviews that tie product usage back to the business outcomes each stakeholder cares about
Building and maintaining multi-threaded relationships across Insights, Marketing, IT, Finance, and Procurement so no renewal depends on a single champion
Partnering with Customer Success and Solutions Engineering to resolve adoption gaps before they become churn risk
Constructing expansion business cases with the same rigor as a net-new deal — quantified ROI, not just “you’re already using it, so...”
Managing a renewal and expansion pipeline with defined stages, accurate forecasting, and 30–90 day close windows on expansion opportunities
Feeding signal back to Sales and Product on what’s driving expansion and what’s putting renewals at risk
Contributing to the playbook for how Suzy retains and grows enterprise accounts
What You’ve Done
Required:
4–8+ years in B2B SaaS account management, customer success, or renewals-focused sales, with at least 2 years owning a quota-carrying book of mid-market or enterprise accounts
Trained on value-based or solution selling — MEDDIC, Challenger, Command of the Message, Force Management, or equivalent — at a company that took it seriously
Consistent net revenue retention (NRR) or gross renewal rate at or above target over the last 2–3 years — with receipts
Experience managing renewal and expansion conversations across deal committees: you’ve had Finance push back on ROI, IT raise security concerns, and a champion go quiet — and you know what to do in each case
Proven ability to build an expansion business case from usage data and business outcomes, not just relationship goodwill
Comfortable owning a book with $2M–$8M+ in total ARR and individual account contracts from $60K–$480K+
Startup or scale-up experience — you’ve operated without a dedicated renewals-ops team and made things work without a perfect process
Strongly Preferred:
AI, data, analytics, or insights platform background — you’ve retained and grown accounts on a product that changes how customers make decisions, not just automates a task
Managed accounts in CPG, retail, financial services, or technology verticals where brand and consumer insight are strategic
Experience defending renewals against legacy vendors, budget scrutiny, or “we can do this ourselves” internally
Foundational years at a large SaaS company (Salesforce, HubSpot, Qualtrics, Medallia, Veeva, Gong, Braze, Sprinklr, Amplitude, or comparable) where you learned renewal process and rigor before going upmarket or to a smaller company
The Environment
Suzy is a growth-stage company. The infrastructure is being built in real time. That means:
You will figure things out that don’t have a process yet
Your opinion on what keeps and grows customers will shape how the whole team manages accounts
The people next to you are exceptional and they will challenge you
If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment — this is exactly the right role.
Benefits:
We take care of our employees and their families. We have generous health dental and vision benefits, and our 401K plan vests immediately
A friendly, fun, and collaborative work environment that allows for frequent exposure to executives
The opportunity to make an immediate impact as a part of a fast-growing company
The target base compensation for this role is $125,000 - $150,000 / yr.
OTE is uncapped
Suzy is an equal opportunity employer. We are a welcoming place for everyone, and we do our best to ensure all people feel supported and connected at work.
Suzy is committed to protecting its customers, employees, partners, and the company as a whole, from damaging acts that are intentional or unintentional. Effective security is a team effort involving the participation and support of every user who interacts with company information/data and systems. It is the responsibility of each individual to help protect company information assets.
