Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Millwrights for projects located in the Baytown, TX area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $33-35/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Millwright and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
- Read fabrication drawings and mechanical layouts
- Fit and assemble mill structures, guards, and platforms
- Install piping, hydraulic, and pneumatic components
- Perform equipment modifications and shutdown jobs
- Inspect fit-up dimensions and tolerances
- Coordinate with maintenance and production teams
Requirements
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices
- Experience in steel or pipe manufacturing preferred
- ITI/Diploma in relevant trade with industrial manufacturing experience
- Experience in ERW pipe manufacturing is preferred
