We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Equipment Salesperson to join our team in Donna, Texas.
Position Summary
The Equipment Salesperson is responsible for selling new and used agricultural and light construction equipment, including tractors, combines, cotton pickers, disks, cultivators, and utility machinery. This role focuses on developing new business while building and maintaining strong customer relationships throughout the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively promote and sell new and used equipment to customers throughout the assigned sales territory.
- Develop new business and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions.
- Provide equipment demonstrations in the field or at customer locations.
- Complete sales documentation, contracts, and reports accurately and on time.
- Maintain knowledge of equipment, pricing, promotions, and industry trends.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales activity in the company’s CRM system.
- Participate in trade shows, field days, and community events as needed.
- Work closely with parts, service, and accounting to support customers throughout the sales process.
- Promote extended warranties, service plans, and parts packages.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required:
- Previous sales experience with a proven ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Experience in the agricultural, construction, heavy equipment, or related industry.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a sales territory independently.
- Comfortable using computers and learning dealership and CRM software.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Preferred:
- Previous agricultural or construction equipment sales experience.
- Agricultural, mechanical, or equipment-related background.
- Knowledge of the South Texas agricultural and equipment market.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
