It is different. We’re one of the fastest-growing pensions in the country for a reason. We challenge the status quo, making a real impact on the hundreds of employers we serve – from education institutions to major corporations and household brands. And we’re just getting started. Driven by core values and a shared purpose, we’re fierce champions for better retirement security, known for our can-do culture where everyone plays a role in bringing our vision to life. If this sounds like a fit, we’d love you to be a part of it.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Pension Software Testing Analyst to help ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of CAAT’s pension administration systems. In this role you will develop and execute test plans for system enhancements, fixes, and new functionality.
Working closely with Business Systems Analysts, Developers, and fellow Testers, you will validate system changes that support pension administration processes and calculations while maintaining a high standard of quality across our Genesis platform. This role combines pension expertise, analytical thinking, and software testing to support the delivery of solutions that impact our members and employers.
As the Newest Member of our Team, You’ll:
- Analyze business requirements and collaborate with team members to understand expected system functionality and outcomes.
- Create and maintain test data, perform pension calculations, and validate system results.
- Develop, execute, and document test cases, test plans, and testing results for enhancements, defects, and system changes.
- Identify, document, and track defects, then re-test solutions to ensure issues have been resolved.
- Maintain and enhance regression test suites and contribute to automated testing initiatives to support ongoing system quality.
- Work closely with Business Systems Analysts, Developers, and other technology team members to validate delivered solutions.
- Support test environment readiness, test data management, testing documentation and version control processes.
- Assist in educating and supporting internal teams on system fixes, enhancements, and new functionality.
- Contribute to operational improvements and future initiatives supporting CAAT's pension administration platform.
- Investigate unexpected system results, analyze data and calculations, and work with Developers and Business Systems Analysts to identify root causes.
To Succeed, You Bring:
- Post secondary education in a related field.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience working with pension administration systems, pension calculations, or pension/benefit operations.
- Strong comprehension of pension calculations and pension administration concepts.
- Experience with software testing, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, or validating system functionality and results.
- A mathematical aptitude along with strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with data analysis and validation; exposure to SQL, databases, ETL processes, or data transformation techniques is an asset.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, TestRail, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, and sprint-based delivery.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively alongside a team.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to continuously learn new technologies and tools.
The target hiring salary for this position is$84,100.00-$98,900.00. Placement within our salary range will be based on factors such as internal equity, market conditions, and the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
