Job Description
The Archer Engineer provides software configuration along with technical support for the -Legal, Compliance, and Privacy Technology team.
The right candidate will play a critical part in diagnosing issues, solving problems and configuring applications to enable business processes and activities.
The Archer Engineer develops, tests, implements, and supports both new and changes to existing GRC technologies through a Software Development Life Cycle.
Job duties / responsibilities:
- Manage daily workload to ensure assigned timelines are met
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Provide best-in-class customer support to internal teams and employees across the enterprise including:
- Monitoring and managing incoming support tickets/requests
- Responding to user support tickets/requests and troubleshooting issues, including prompt incident responses
- Supporting shared mailboxes, including help questions, research requests, and access-related inquiries
- Monitor and respond to internal customers questions in the Viva Engage community.
- Performing data imports and data feeds
- Completing single-record data modifications and data corrections
- Supporting day-to-day platform operations and maintenance activities
- Prompt resolution of incidents
- Monitor for data feed or autosys job failures, resolve issues, and rerun as needed
- Implement monthly organization hierarchy data changes.
- Support attestations process including data preparation and running data feeds as needed
- Comply with all policy requirements surrounding Incident, Change and Problem Management
- Consult with internal customers to elicit, explain, translate and refine business/technical requirements
- Research existing configuration architecture to understand current processes and functionality
- Communicate technical information to non-technical individuals
- Ensure timely completion of internal customers priority driven needs
- Develop a full understanding of how in-scope applications, utilities, and processes function; infrastructure, administration, user interface, etc.
- Document technical architectural designs and business logic solutions
- Assist in the planning of design, build, test and implementation phases
- Ensure alignment with development, implementation and performance standards
- Participate in unit, integration and user acceptance testing
- Utilize agile principles within planning, development, and communication
- Provide consultation services to internal customers as well as internal team resources
- Perform other projects or miscellaneous duties as requested or assigned
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of relevant experience monitoring, managing and responding to incoming support tickets/requests in Archer
Requirements of qualified candidate:
· 5+ years of application configuration experience in Archer, preferably 2024.09 or newer.
· Strong analytical and critical thinking, problem solving skillset
· Extensive technical troubleshooting experience
· Self-motivated, quick learner with exceptional time management
· Excel at verbal and written communication
· Able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously; seamlessly multitask
· Understanding of Operational Risk Programs, a plus
· Advanced experience developing formulas in Microsoft Excel, a plus
