Systems Applications Engineer

Join the Digital Healthcare Team and help develop innovative technologies that improve diagnostic imaging systems worldwide. As part of a dynamic team of applications engineers, you will work at the intersection of hardware, software, and system design to bring cutting-edge healthcare solutions from concept to reality.

• Design and develop proof-of-concept demonstrations, system prototypes, evaluation platforms, and software tools (including graphical user interfaces) that enable customers to evaluate, integrate, and accelerate the adoption of Analog Devices healthcare solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Field Applications Engineers, product development teams, and customers to provide technical support and drive successful system-level implementations worldwide.
• Create technical content including application notes, reference designs, demonstrations, and articles that showcase the capabilities and value of healthcare-focused technologies.
• Explore, define, and develop innovative healthcare solutions that address complex customer challenges and emerging market needs.
• Contribute to system architecture discussions, technology evaluations, and product roadmap development to influence the next generation of healthcare systems.

Key Qualifications

• Strong foundation in electronics engineering, system architecture, and product development.
• Experience in system-level hardware and software design, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of technical challenges.
• Passion for innovation and applying technology to solve real-world healthcare problems.

Additional Qualifications for Experienced Candidates

• Demonstrated ability to translate customer and system requirements into technical solutions aligned with broader business and product strategies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience collaborating across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Customer-facing experience and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Preferred Skills

• Software debugging and troubleshooting experience.
• Embedded software development using C/C++.
• Experience with Python development and automated test frameworks.
• Familiarity with embedded processors and microcontroller architectures (ARM-based systems preferred).
• FPGA design, integration, or reference design development experience.
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts and applications.
• Experience developing evaluation platforms, prototypes, or system demonstrations.
