Position: Engineer 2 - Cyber Security Engineering
Experience: 2.5 years to 4.5 years
Job Location: Chennai
Required Qualifications • Experience: 3+ years in Network Security Engineering. • NAC Expertise: Hands-on deployment of Cisco ISE NAC • WAF Expertise: This would be a secondary skill to have. Experience managing Akamai Web Application Firewall. • Core Protocols: Strong knowledge of 802.1X, RADIUS, and TACACS+. • Core skills: NAC, Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE 2.x / 3.x),MAC authentication Bypass, Active Directory & LDAP Integration, Endpoint Profiling & Device Classification, Posture Assessment & Compliance Enforcement, Guest Access & Sponsor Portal Management, Wireshark Packet Analysis, Splunk Log Analysis & Monitoring, Syslog Analysis & Troubleshooting, System Upgrades, Patching & Certificate Management etc • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity solutions into technical strategies
- Supporting system and infrastructure design by assisting with firewalls, intrusion detection, and anti-virus systems
- Building, installing, and configuring cybersecurity measures in line with organizational designs
- Conducting technical reviews, vulnerability tests, and security assessments to identify risks
- Maintaining and testing cybersecurity operations to ensure system integrity
- Assisting in the development and oversight of security policies, procedures, and standards
- Applying knowledge of network protocols, secure routing, and network device security across various platforms
- Utilizing analytical approaches for monthly data reporting and special analyses to management
- Developing strategies for network automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting to support high-availability architecture
- Evaluating and fortifying security posture by implementing secure routing protocols and best practices in device configuration
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
