Financial Analyst II
Location: Butler, Pennsylvania (On-Site)
Reports To: Director of FP&A
About the Role
This is not a report-running role. It's a business partnership role built around ownership.
You'll serve as the financial lead for an assigned area of the business, owning its budget, forecast, reporting, and financial analysis. You'll turn data into insights, help leaders make better decisions, and act as the "CFO" for your area.
What You'll Do
Analyze Business Performance
- Identify key business issues and opportunities.
- Develop recommendations and actionable solutions.
- Build financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to support decision-making.
Stay a Step Ahead
- Proactively identify projects, risks, and opportunities.
- Surface issues early and help drive solutions.
- Raise the bar - Collaborate with teammates and help improve the team's models and reporting.
Be the Financial Partner for Your Area
- Own budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Lead month-end reporting, performance analysis, and forecasting.
- Develop business cases, ROI analyses, pricing evaluations, and capital investment recommendations.
- Build strong partnerships with business leaders and serve as a trusted advisor.
What Success Looks Like
- 90 Days: Understand your area, its financial drivers, and key stakeholders.
- 6 Months: Become a go-to resource for financial guidance and decision support.
- 12 Months: Proactively identify opportunities and risks while delivering forecasts leaders trust.
What We're Looking For
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related analytical field, or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or business analytics.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence business decisions through data and analysis.
Preferred
- SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
- ERP and planning system experience, preferably JD Edwards.
- Telecom, broadband, subscription-based, or capital-intensive industry experience.
- Progress toward a CPA, CFA, or MBA.
