What this opportunity involves:

As a Building Facilities Manager for JLL, you'll be the driving force behind seamless facilities operations across a diverse, mixed portfolio of Commercial and Industrial assets. You'll oversee all technical and facilities requirements, ensuring service delivery consistently meets and exceeds client KPIs and SLAs while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and regulatory compliance. While established facilities experience is highly valued, we are entirely open to welcoming a candidate with less facilities management experience who possesses the right attitude, passion, and drive to grow with us. This position may require 24/7 emergency call support and site attendance, reflecting the critical nature of keeping our clients' operations running smoothly.

An overview of the role:

• Oversee all technical and facilities operations across a mixed portfolio of commercial and industrial properties to ensure operational excellence.

• Monitor and manage service delivery against agreed KPIs and SLAs, including customer satisfaction surveys and regular reporting requirements.

• Serve as the primary on-site facilities contact for clients and stakeholders, proactively engaging to understand needs and resolve issues.

• Manage vendor relationships and performance, ensuring services are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with procurement guidelines.

• Oversee contract management activities, monitoring expiry dates, initiating re-procurement processes, and continuously assessing value delivery.

• Ensure full compliance with local and governmental regulations, implementing and maintaining risk management programs and audit processes.

• Support Property Managers with preparation and management of OpEx and CapEx budgets while maintaining financial controls and JLL Code of Ethics standards.

• Provide a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with fire, health, and safety statutory regulations.

• Collaborate with internal and external project teams, consultants, and fit-out companies on capital improvement initiatives as capacity allows.

• Prior experience in facilities management within commercial or industrial real estate, or a strong, transferable operational background with a keen willingness to learn.

• A proactive, positive, and growth-oriented attitude, reflecting our belief that the most effective teams are built when everyone is empowered to thrive.

• Solid understanding of building systems, technical operations, and general facilities maintenance requirements.

• Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage vendor relationships and service contracts effectively.

• Good working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and compliance frameworks.

• A basic understanding of or strong aptitude for managing operational budgets and financial reporting.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all organizational levels.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a highly proactive, solutions-focused approach to issue resolution.

• Availability for 24/7 emergency call support and after-hours site attendance when required.
