KH239 - Full-Time Live-Out Nanny - San Francisco, CA

Overview

A lovely family based in the Noe Valley neighborhood of San Francisco is seeking a true career nanny for their two children ages 2 and 4-years-old to start by mid-October. The schedule will be three 12 hour days (7:30am-7:30pm), ideally Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. There is some flexibility if Thursday, Friday, Saturday is preferred but the schedule will always include one weekend day. This is a truly child focused position in a fully staffed home for a nanny who loves this age group and provides respectful, developmentally appropriate care. This kind and fun-loving family is looking for a nanny to join their care team and family long-term.

Responsibilities

• Full-childcare for two active and sweet children, providing a warm and loving environment, care and engagement including enrichment in age-appropriate activities that foster physical, social, and emotional growth both in and out of the home
• Excited to get out and about each day to local activities, play dates, and outings. Their ideal nanny loves to research activities and classes locally and when traveling
• Coordinating schedules for naps, meals, and activities including collaborating with another nanny who has been with the family for two years
• There is a chef and housekeeper so focus is truly on the children
• Managing the tidiness and organization of the children's spaces and restocking child items such as diapers and wipes

Qualifications

• Team player with excellent communication who will keep parents in the loop and be happy to have parents pop in when they can
• Excited to work with the young children, know ages and stages and what developmental milestones are coming next
• Experience working with multiple children, specifically toddler through elementary school age
• Proactive and calm personality to keep up with a busy household

Requirements

• Pet friendly! The family has multiple extremely loving dogs so must be comfortable around dogs
• Confident swimming skills and comfortable supervising children in the water
• TrustLine registration, or willing to register before start date
• Travel ready: experienced traveling with families and current passport/able to travel internationally. Trips are typically a long weekend up to one week but the family will likely start doing 1-2 longer trips (10-14 days) a year
• Driver’s license and clean driving record
• Tech savvy (baby connect, calendar, etc.)
• Legal to work in the US
• Already local and within commuting distance of Noe Valley 

Salary and Benefits

$45-55 per hour plus applicable CA overtime PTO, holidays, and sick days
