Jaxon is looking for a Field Welder to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO.

Salary: $25.00-$33.00 per hour plus per diems while traveling
Schedule: Full-Time plus opportunity for OT
Travel Requirement: While this role is primarily a position located in Colorado Springs, a Field Welder should be prepared to travel very often and as needed. Travel expenses are paid by the company.
Security Clearance Requirement: This role requires the ability and willingness to obtain a Department of Defense Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance

Primary Duties:
- Perform welding, fit-up, fabrication, and general construction tasks, including grinding and painting
- Read and interpret blueprints to build and assemble components within required tolerances
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete work on time, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
Required Job Qualifications
- Previous welding, fabrication, or related manufacturing experience
- Proficiency in MIG welding and the ability to weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and nickel alloys
- Ability to perform AWS-qualified welds, including AWS D1.1, D1.3, D1.6, D9.1, and B2.1 standards
- Capable of passing 3G, 4G, or 6G plate tests using FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW processes
- Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills, with the ability to meet attendance, safety, and compliance requirements
Desired Job Qualifications (Optional)
- Strong blueprint reading, fabrication layout, and mathematical skills
- HEMP welding experience and/or additional welding certifications preferred
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement

Must have the ability or willingness to do the following:
- Obtain or already possess United States Passport
- Use grinders, chop saws, drills, plasma cutters and both scissor lift & variable-reach forklifts
- Ability to bend over, kneel and crouch for long periods of time, & able to lift at least 50 lbs.
