Libby Care Center is seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team and drive exceptional resident care. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated nursing leader who is committed to clinical excellence, staff development, regulatory compliance, and creating a positive culture for both residents and employees.
As the Director of Nursing, you will play a key role in shaping the quality of care delivered throughout the facility while partnering with the leadership team to support operational success and outstanding resident outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing services and clinical operations.
- Develop, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning.
- Partner with physicians, therapists, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote exceptional outcomes.
- Monitor clinical metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the State of Montana (or ability to obtain).
- Previous nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of skilled nursing regulations and clinical operations.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Passion for developing and supporting caregivers.

Qualifications
Education
Graduate of accredited school of nursing, BSN or MSN preferred.
Licenses/Certification
Valid RN license in the state employed.
Valid CPR certification.
DNS-CT or CDONA, optional.
Valid driver’s license.
Experience
3-5 years successful experience as a Director of Nursing or equivalent position in long-term care facility preferred
