Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our OB Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at CHI Williston Health, you will help provide safe, efficient patient care by assisting with clinical tasks, patient needs, and department operations so patients receive quality care and a positive experience.

 

Every day you will assist with patient care activities such as obtaining and recording vital signs, collecting specimens, assisting with transports and transfers, and supporting providers and the care team with treatments and documentation. You will be expected to maintain a safe and organized environment, follow established policies and procedures, and use resources appropriately.

 

To be successful in this role, you must be able to work safely and efficiently, communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and the care team, and demonstrate attention to detail when performing clinical and administrative tasks.

• Assist with patient care by obtaining vital signs, collecting specimens, assisting with treatments, and supporting patient transports and transfers.
• Perform designated clinical procedures and maintain appropriate equipment and supplies.
• Assist with patient observations, data collection, documentation, electronic data entry, and provider orders.
• Provide professional customer service by answering phones, greeting patients and visitors, and supporting department operations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following facility policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

Required

• Certified Nursing Assistant: ND (CNA:ND)
• Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)
