Location: Plaistow, NH

Work Schedule: Monday–Thursday 6:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.; Friday 7:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m.

 Spartronics is hiring an experienced Electronics Assembler / Solderer to join our Plaistow, NH manufacturing team.

This is a hands-on position for someone with experience in hand soldering, wire and cable assembly, connector termination, electromechanical assembly, box build, cable routing, or harness assembly who enjoys detailed work and takes pride in producing high-quality products.

The soldering performed in this position primarily supports wires, cables, connectors, terminals, splices, harnesses, and electromechanical assemblies as part of larger high-level and box-build products.

You'll help manufacture complex, high-reliability products for demanding industries including aerospace & defense and medical devices while working in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Perform hand soldering of wires, cables, connectors, terminals, splices, and electromechanical assemblies.
• Complete soldered wire and cable terminations according to detailed work instructions and workmanship requirements.
• Assemble and terminate cables, wire harnesses, connectors, and electrical components.
• Route, position, secure, and dress cables and wire harnesses within assemblies and finished products.
• Build electrical and electromechanical subassemblies and complete high-level and box-build assemblies.
• Install connectors, hardware, components, and mechanical and electrical subassemblies.
• Assemble products using drawings, work instructions, bills of material, and other manufacturing documentation.
• Perform masking, hand coating/touch-up, potting, and other specialized assembly processes.
• Use soldering equipment, hand tools, torque-controlled tools, and other production equipment.
• Perform in-process inspections and identify workmanship or assembly issues.
• Accurately complete production, inspection, and quality documentation.
• Work independently on established assembly processes with limited supervision.
• Assist with training and supporting less-experienced assemblers.
• Partner with Production, Quality, and Engineering to maintain product quality and production flow.
• Follow applicable safety, ESD, workmanship, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

What We're Looking for- Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of electronics assembly, hand soldering, electromechanical assembly, cable/wire assembly, or related manufacturing experience.
• Hands-on experience performing wire, cable, connector, terminal, or similar soldered terminations in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience with wire and cable assembly, harness assembly, cable routing, connector installation, or electromechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and detailed manufacturing documentation.
• Experience using soldering equipment, hand tools, and other production equipment.
• Strong hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and commitment to workmanship and quality.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English to follow technical, quality, and safety documentation.

• Electromechanical assembly
• High-level assembly (HLA)
• Box build and system integration
• Torque-controlled assembly
• Masking, potting, or conformal coating
• IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 experience, training, or certification
• Electronics manufacturing or contract manufacturing/EMS experience
• Aerospace & defense or medical-device manufacturing experience
• Experience working within ISO 9001, AS9100, or ISO 13485 manufacturing environments

Compensation:

Spartronics offers competitive hourly compensation based on relevant manufacturing experience, soldering and assembly skills, technical training or certifications, industry experience, and overall qualifications.
