Days/Evenings (United States of America)GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under general supervision assists in performing various technical duties such as aseptically preparing authorization site. Transporting patients post catheterization to their appropriate destination. Many other ancillary duties will be assigned on a day-to-day basis. Provides patient care to adult and geriatric patients.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Must possess level of knowledge of heart anatomy and physiology acquired through LPN with med training, formal Medical Assistant program, or 2 years of EKG program.
2. Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients, families and physicians.
3. Must have Basic Life Support experience.
4. Work requires 4 to 6 months on the job training in electrocardiograph interpretation, aseptic techniques and test procedures
HOURS:
Full-time, Days
Weekend and holiday rotation required per department policy.
