About you and this Role:


Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Contract Administrator in Toronto, Ontario.


In this role, you will be responsible for contractor management, contract administration, purchase order management, accrual reporting, materials coordination, and maintenance documentation. You will partner with Maintenance, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and contractors to support safe, reliable, and cost-effective maintenance execution.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned maintenance contractors and manage contractor performance, compliance, and safety requirements.

  • Support contract administration, audits, onboarding, site access, training records, and contractor safety programs.

  • Participate in field audits, EH&S observations, and Root Cause Investigations (RCIs) to drive continuous improvement.

  • Develop and maintain maintenance procedures, work instructions, SAP work plans, task lists, and related documentation.

  • Maintain SIS, GMISS, SAP records, and other maintenance documentation.

  • Create and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders for maintenance materials and services.

  • Review invoices, track committed costs, and prepare monthly maintenance accruals.

  • Coordinate procurement activities, vendor performance feedback, payment issue resolution, and material deliveries.

  • Support material, tool, and equipment acquisition, tracking, repair, return, and disposition activities.

  • Collect and report maintenance KPIs and identify opportunities to improve work processes and performance.

  • Collaborate with Procurement, Planning, Scheduling, Reliability, Operations, and Finance to support effective execution of the Global Maintenance Work Process (GMWP).

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum two-year diploma/certificate OR high school diploma with at least three years of experience in customer service, purchasing, procurement, contract administration, maintenance support, planning, or a related field.

  • A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in Canada. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including any type of permanent residency support.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in purchasing, procurement, contract administration, maintenance planning, work management, or monthly accrual processes.

  • Experience using SAP or similar maintenance and procurement systems.

  • Experience working with contractors, vendors, and maintenance teams in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

  • This position is located in Toronto (ON, CAN).

  • Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

  • For positions based in Ontario, Dow is required by law to include the pay scale that is reasonably expected to represent the pay range for the position. This pay range is specific to the territory of Ontario and accounts for both new and experienced employees with consideration to factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, and sustained job performance (or similar jobs). A reasonable pay range for this position is: $79,560 - $132,600.
